What is a typical first visit ?

We start with a thorough history and patient interview. We want to know about your health status and why you came in.

The interview dictates what kind of examination needs to happen, whether it is orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, spine or extremity, or a combination of these.

Finally, if x-rays or other imaging are indicated they will be ordered. X-rays can be performed on site. MRI, CT scan, or other diagnostic tests will be referred to an appropriate local facility.

Before leaving, a follow-up visit is scheduled to go over the findings of the exam and imaging studies.

Please note: At times we find that a person would be best served by a different type of provider. If that is the case an appropriate referral will be given.
